Battle of the Books 2026

What is it?

Battle of the Books is a program presented by Glencoe Public Library, in partnership with Central School. 5th and 6th grade students form teams to read selected books and compete in fun, quiz-style competitions to test their knowledge of the books.

Why participate?

Battle of the Books brings teamwork, friendly competition and community to reading! It’s an exciting opportunity to read and share Caudill-nominated and other great titles with friends.
