Can’t come into the library or want to pick up a hold after hours? Glencoe cardholders can schedule a locker or curbside pickup.
Here’s how it works:
- Place a hold on your items, either through the catalog or by calling us at (847) 835-5056. If you’re placing a hold through the catalog and would like to pick up your item(s) in a locker, select “Glencoe Twenty-Four Hour Lockers” in the Pickup drop-down menu when you place your hold.
- When your items are ready, you will be notified by email, text, or phone call, depending on your notification preference.
-
- For locker pickup, you will be notified when your items are in a locker and ready for pickup. This will come in the form of an email or text, which will give you information to retrieve your items.
- For conventional curbside pickup of items you have on hold, call (847) 835-5056 to schedule a pickup time. Your held item(s) will be placed on a cart for pick up just prior to the requested time.
Both curbside and locker pickup occur in the small parking lot on the west side of the building, off Village Court. You may briefly pull into the lot to collect your held items.
