Digital Library of Illinois (Overdrive) is your resource for downloadable versions of books, audiobooks, and magazines. Libby, the app for this resource, is available for iOS and Android. If you own an Amazon Kindle, most of the eBook titles can be transferred to that device for reading.

Freading has a selection of ebooks for download or online viewing. Apps are available for iOS and Android devices.

Maintained by the Reaching Across Illinois Library System (RAILS), Biblioboard is a free-to-use ebook service for all residents of Illinois, and notably features ebook versions of many classics, as well as a large and growing collection of independent and self-published books.

Flipster has current and back issues of a variety of magazines. Apps are available for iOS and Android devices.

On Hoopla, you will find a bit of everything – books, audiobooks, movies, TV shows, music, and digital comics. Apps are available for iOS and Android devices, as well as some smart TVs and streaming devices (check your device’s app store).

Check out Freegal Music for unlimited streaming and a weekly allotment of free downloads. Apps are available for iOS and Android devices.

Kanopy is a streaming service (like Netflix) that offers a variety of movies and video media, including classics, foreign films, documentaries, and award-winning shorts.
