Part-time Adult Services Librarian

The Glencoe Public Library is looking for a Part-time Librarian to join our forward-thinking Adult Services Department. The Part-time Librarian will provide reference service at a busy reference desk, utilizing a large array of print reference resources, online databases, and the Internet. The position will also be required to perform basic computer troubleshooting and assistance with copiers, printers, MS Office, and the Internet. The Glencoe Public Library Board of Trustees is seeking quotes from qualified and experienced firms to provide a comprehensive capital needs assessment of the condition of the library’s building and grounds. This assessment will not be used for bond planning. A pre-quote walkthrough is mandatory and available by appointment. Quotes must be submitted via email by 5:00 p.m., September 27, 2021 to Andrew Kim, Executive Director at akim@glencoelibrary.org.
